| if you are on BT broadband, check to make sure that you are not being automatically upgraded to 2Mb (they are in the process of doing this for almost all customers).
If you do want to get a second bb line it shouldn't be a problem. BT runs two pairs of wires into each house for just this eventuality. Obviously you'll be shelling out twice (for broadband and monthly line rental) so it's probably worth checking out alternative higher bandwidth products first. |
