I've just got a full 998 fairing/nosecone/belly pan kit in DP AV fiber via an EBAY auction for my 748R.
Is definitely better quality than the normal trackday stuff. Here's a picture of it for your info.
It looks like it's got kevlar (or a simillar material) tape encased within the resin around the main stress points (i.e. the zeus fasterner locations).
As far as fitting....it's spot on. Put the fairings on and installed my road nosecone and the holes lined up perfectly which is great cos I don't have any messing around now to use the fairings on the road unlike other aftermarket fairings I've had.
