Well folks, just been reading through todays posts and came across this thread.

For the avoidance of doubt, the 749 bip, grey frame and 05 swingarm is a full UK bike backed up with 2 year warranty and all the trimmings. As twinfan suggests, these machines utilised spare stock of grey chassis. They are exactly the same bikes, just a different colour chassis.

Barnsey I will most humbly, publicly apologise for my staff not calling you back. Very sorry mate, I try to ensure that this doesn't happen but i'm sure it happens more than i'm aware!!
I will correct that as soon as i'm finished typing this reply. Also check your u2u.

As to the Termi situation, again sorry for that. We should have called you to keep you up to date, even just to tell you we have none in. As I have seen elsewhere on this site, the supply of Termis (for all ranges) has been......shall we say, a bit lacking this year.
All the dealers are feeling it, there is very little they / we can do. I know for a fact the factory is aware of the problem and is working very hard to supply all back order items ASAP

I will have a chat with the staff about this just to sharpen up our response times. It's the human element, we make mistakes like everyone, phone numbers get lost, staff get side-tracked and omit to return to the issue. Not excuses, just a possible explanation.

Again, SORRY!

As to looking after our own customers, well that's a bit of a no-brainer! As you rightly say, of course all the dealers do. Developing a relationship with your local dealer will always benefit you! It's not the cost of the bike, it's the whole cost of the ownership experience.

But I hasten to add, We look after anyone with a Duc. Sounds cheesy but we are a specialist centre that has a customer base from Glasgow to as far as Australia, St Kitts and Japan! No BULL!

Your local dealer should look after you no matter what the issue but it's very much in the hands of that dealer and their own attitude to the whole thing. There is no rules on this one. That variable will change dealer to dealer. A quick chat with them will give you a good idea of the response you'll get.

I'll go now, knackered typing this!!!
