SS catch tray patternwork advancing rapidly at Classic Panels ( this is the Brancato Eng composite company).

Kevin P has kindly lent his SS for a trial fit.

I'll try to describe it: it's a new inside lower part of fairing, (exact contour) separate moulding, it extends beyond the present backedge of fairing sides, past the 2into 1 exh pipe junction.
(
Encasulated whithin the bottom, where the 2 metal brackets join the fairing halves, are 4 M6 'nuts'.
These are fluid proof.

The 2 brackets that join the fairing and well nuts are now redundant.

With fairing sides removed, the new tray, is placed under the engine, temporarily suspended by 2 rubber 'hanger loops', then both sides are replaced, bottom is shut and tray held tight by the 4 M6 fastners that used to hold before.

A 25mm id, rubber grommet acts as the removable wet weather drain.
Just at the stage where It is nearly ready to test for that 4 litre capacity.
Once that's done, a mould tool will be made, and mouldings can be produced.
Cost is probably going to be £60 although this is to be finalised.
(Purchasers of B/eng full race fairings will get it at 1/2 price)
Colours can be red/yellow/white/black
