The thing is that different tyres have different profiles and circumferences, as well as that nirvana we are looking for super grip.
All this has to be taken into account when you buy a different make.
Some might say the profile of your original tyre was so low that you have had to adjust your bike to stand it on its nose to get it to turn. Adding a higher profile tyre is just going to make this worse.
So my sixpenneth is that you need to included what tyres you have when you set a bike up to handle to your liking, altering them is as different as raising your forks further through the yolks.
Dunlop 209 gp's mate, fantastic tyre. dual compound so harder in the middle to wobble around on the road, and with soft sides for ultimate grip on your track days!
