He really rated the upgrade to the four pad calipers and thought they were the best of the winter investments closely followed by the ball bearing slipper clutch replacing the standard ramp only slipper.
Tyres used were the treaded Dunlop 209s which he says have massive amounts of side grip but feel a bit nervous when upright.
As Pembrey is a short track he found he wasn't using 6th gear and was keeping revs down to below 11000 rpm.
After speaking to him I thought it woud be nice to go along to the next round at Donington but I will have to give it a miss as its the day before we are at Brands for the Desmo Due races |
