| You should be ok provided the S4 has standard low level pipes, but may need to remove the platsic seat cover. I used a set of Oxford sport panniers on my old M600 for camping & European jaunts with no hassle at all, and found the one under/one over arrangement of the velcro straps worked best on the seat.
High level pipes are a bit of a non-starter with normal throw overs. The panniers can get cooked by the heat of the cans, and they usually end up sitting way too wide. I have to make do with tankbag & large rucksack these days.
