| IF you have the "caliper above the disc" setup, make sure that there is a security clip in the end of the pin that goes through the caliper and pads.
I would expect one on an SP but with Ducati you can't be sure they had the right ones in stock the day they built yours.
The earlier 900SS did not have the clip, and the pins were given to working their way out, - the pads drop - the wheel locks.
It happened to me, fortunately at very low speed.
