| Cold, cold, cold. Thanks to Toni and Neil - hot coffee, bacon butties and chat all made the day a lot more bearable after I lowsided early on.
First lap of my second session, first time at Oulton so taking it very easy as I was still finding my way round. Not easy enough apparently. Did I mention it was cold? Cold tyres + cold track (+ cold me!) = scuffed fairing & leathers + dented pride. Ho hum.
Back in the paddock we found that the gear linkage had taken a knock and the box was locked solid, so that was me done for the day.
I reckon that works out at £10 per lap - so it wasn't quite the bargain it should have been...
Not put me off, will be back for more, though I draw the line at Mallory in December! |
