would i be better off on a "normal track day" first.

i know that you all want to promote you own days but some honest advise would be appreciated.

I think I can safely say without fear of contradiction that a DSC trackday is probably the safest way to start your track career. Yes there are some fast boys out there, but they are very respectful and will give an obvious novice loads of room and consideration. There is also loads of free instruction on hand.

Finally, if you are wanting to come to terms with your bike, IMHO there is no better place than a track. If you want to reconsider your decision not to participate on Wednesday, I will personally usher you round and generally help you get your head right way up.

I guarantee you will love it.
