Mood: I AM looking forward to racing..
Pics of my baby, post winter work...

Well here she is, after some winter time and money. Stuff done, SP4 ohlins forks and yokes fitted, harris bars with renthal grips, brembo 18mm radial master cylinder, itg filter, all head and swinger bearings stripped and cleaned/re greased ( do they really only put this little bit of grease in at the factory??!!) and an ohlind rear shock. The shock was a brand new boxed ebay bargain, 250 quid, but it's for a monster. So I had to remove the radiator overflow tank from under the seat to position the reservoir because the hose is too short to reach up to the back of the subframe. I now have a race style overflow bottle tacked to the side of the rad on the right. Did a trackday at Donignton last week, she handles lovely, if a little slow steering. As you can see, I had no money left for decent tyres so had to ride with ropey 5 year old Bridgestone road tyres, on a freezing cold track, mmm nice! Slidetastic! Still was doing around 1.20's on the national circuit, not bad. HAve done 1.13's round here on my racebike so I was reasonably pleased. The bset thing though was the constant flow of visitors to the garagre to gawp. The comments I received all day were 'you're not gonna take this out are you?' and ' I would cry if I binned this', and best of all 'if this was mine I would keep it in the lounge and just look at it.' 888's eh, people love 'em!
