i like the shape of the wheels, but not the blinginess. also, the belly pan add on thingy and the seat unit spoil the lines of the bike and thus loses the dynamic diagonal upsweep of the original design which gives the bike a purposeful and agressive stance. he's made the bike look heavy and clumsy - which,some to think of it, would suit the average american i 'spose

not only that, but in covering the exposed exhaust work with the bellypan, he has taken a retrograde step in bike aesthetics as the 916 idea of leaving mechanical bits exposed was way ahead of its time - for example, look at the design of the current R1 and cbr 600rr, where the fairing is very minimalist and leaves lots of engine parts on display.

in general, apart from carbon bits and bobs, when it comes to ducatis, leave well alone. if you want a bike to inflict tasteless mods upon then buy a bandit (got one of those as well - semi streetfightered)
