| The link was for the style and amount of digits (13) in the vin, the frame is different to mine. I'm sure mines a 916 style with detachable sub frame, its not the 2 valve SS, Monster style frame those 2 digits which look like 00 don't add up though.

Its really difficult to see,the clutch lines been rubbing on the headstock, with a bit of rust right on those 2 digits. Ill take some pics of it later if I can get over there.
Beginning to think I should have stuck with a Bros, but I like the idea of an air cooled 2 valve.

Forgot to ask is there anywhere else on the frame where nos. might be.
There is a silver sticker on the left side frame tube which runs vertically down towards foot pegs, but anything that was on there has worn off.,
