I was taught recently that you want a 5-7 psi increase from cold pressure to warm. Set your pressure in the morning then do a "normal" session to get the tires good and warm and pull in and immediately check the pressure. Should get that 5-7 increase front and rear and you are doing good. If it's less than 5, you have too much air and need to let some out. If it's higher than 7, too little and need to add a little..after they cool down.
