Nope, you're wrong. This is the first year that Ducati have quoted bhp at the crank figures. This is also the first year that they've quoted dry weight figures, previously all Dukes were weighed without fuel but with all other fluids.

That's why all the power figures are up and the weights are down.

What difference does it make anyway? Most of us will never be able to get anywhere near pushing a superbike to it's limits so what if it's 130 bhp or 230 bhp it's all academic
