| I'm not trying to pee on the fireworks mate but it seems like a lot of money to spend for not much improvement. I would've thought that some P34 'pad-per-piston' calipers and some decent pads would be more than enough stoping power.
I rode loads of bikes at the Cadwell trackday with all sorts of brake configurations (some of them very bling indeed). None of them close to my humble ST2 that has P34's on it. Whether it's the combination of the calipers, the pads, the disks or just the way they've been bled they're nigh on perfect for me - loads of power if you even think about moving the lever, but loads of confidence inspiring feel as well.
They're loads better (so far) than the billet GP2's I've got on my 888, but then again I did buy the billets because of the almighty bling factor as well as the promise of better stoppers - so if bling is the thing for you just go for it, we all loikes us bits o' bling! |
