| Help! Problem with fitting a M600 rear wheel in my 600SS
The 600 Monster wheel came complete from a crash damaged bike, yesterday I put it into my 600SS and noticed I had a clearance problem with the sprocket nuts hitting my paddock stand mounts, as this doesn't happen with the 600SS wheel I wondered why it was a problem with the monster wheel. I found that the sprocket carrier on the Monster wheel had several more millimeters of sprocket offset as though it was designed with a 180 tyre in mind.
The part number on this sprocket carrier is 16010042A is there any way I can check to see if tis is the original M600 carrier.
Also while checking out the offset I noticed the coned spacer on the sprocket carrier was in the wrong way round once I had managed to dig it out I found a naffed bearing and circlip. |
