Open Clutch Covers

I had a few enquiries from Desmosedici owners as to whether our open clutch covers would fit, which unfortunately they don't due to different bolt spacing. After discussions with a couple of owners, we decided to embark on a little project to make our own open clutch covers instead!

Having spent many hours drawing up the original Desmosedici clutch cover (why do they not make things simple?! None of the spacings are equal!!) we programmed the dimensions into the CNC mill, bolted in an OEM cover, crossed our fingers and pressed the big green button...

I'm really happy with the results! We experimented with a couple ways to mill them out, but we think we now have the perfect OEM milled open clutch cover.

If you are interested, we can either supply you with a new OEM clutch cover and mill it for you, or we can mill your existing clutch cover. Turnaround is 5 working days if you supply your own cover, but your guess is as good as mine when ordering covers from Ducati - we waited three weeks for this one!

Many thanks to Neil at Cornerspeed for all his help, as usual. If you've got a Desmosedici then he's the man to speak to about servicing.
