Two day event I had entered 8 races but due to the poor weather 4 races were cancelled. Friday test day was dry and I was clocking 1:07 which was 1.5 seconds faster than my dry PB. Sat and Sunday were wet but I still managed a 1:12 and 8th/16 and 9th/16 in the Rookie races. Mine being the slowest bike, I beat a host of CBR 600, ZX6r bikes, the 8th place I was 16 seconds ahead of 9th just 1 second behind 7th which was a 600RR. Who said the 583 is slow!!! the brakes & suspension on Matt's old bike are feckin awesome.
In Sunday's Rookie race I was catching a 900SS, I made 4 bike lenghts up on lap 2 and was lining him up for a hi-jack at the next corner on the brakes and then this happened. I survived but totally kacked myself.
