ok so a brand new bike (in which each componant is within the manufactures spec is allready blueprinted)?

My take on the word (i dont really know) is that each componant is changed to its optiuim (ie better than new) tolerance, so for example if the small end tolerance is 0.01 - 0.05mm then it should be 0.01, if its 0.02 its replaced. I would take this to mean better than new and involve not OEM parts as these only meet manufacturers tolerance. if i go out and buy a new rod it will come in anywhere between 0.01 and 0.05, so i cant use OEM parts, hence its mega expensive.

I was looking at a blueprinted GSXR600 motor and the owner wanted 6 grand for it. must be mad like, but Ouch.

Anyway we digress...
