If they stay at the start price they're a good buy, but I doubt that they will.

http://www.moto-one.com.au/performance/888st4ex.html it seems that 45mm systems are pretty good on Desmoquattro engines, the 50mm system it was tested against didn't offer any advantage. Mind you, these were ST4 and Ducati Performance ST4 headers and Brad Black considers the ST4 headers (45mm) about the best value performance exhaust short of the more expensive 'spaghetti' systems.
Since the Sil system is a 45mm spaghetti, it should be pretty good I would say and pretty good in the bling stakes as well.
