Good luck with that - not the getting in bit but the getting any sleep bit!
The planes pass over less than 100ft off the ground on the way in to East Midlands Airport next door and they fly all night. ALL NIGHT!

If you want some sleep, go just up the road to the Melbourne View hotel. It's half a mile from the paddock entrance and very, very nice. We've stayed there loads and Sally does a great cooked breakfast! Her husband is also a Ducati fan!

Lol, aircraft. Pah. You remember the DD paddock party noise. I'm used to it. What with Bradders snoring, Tessyman sinking 50 cans of beer, Dallas filling up saucepans in the back of his van, Skids takin people bikes appart in the middle of the night, that bloke with the worlds noisiest genny

Oh trust me, this is in a class of it's own!

I camped there the night before a trackday and the 'planes were so low that they lit up the tent and the ground rumbled and shook. I think I got about an hours sleep at 5am or something silly like that.
