851 Bits for sale
I've got a set of 851 heads, cylinders and pistons for sale.
Anybody interested?

Background:

My SP4 blew big style - snapped crank! (see "aren't SP4's wonderful" 20-10-2005)

I found a replacement engine - a 1993 851 with less than 500 miles on it! It was bought directly from the factory to power a special project but in the end wasn't used.

This was ideal for me as the bottom half was identical (apart from the gearing) to my bike. It even had the lightened conrods!

So now I'm back on the road - running in my 13 year old SP4.

I'm keeping my original cases with correct engine no. and conrods in case the bike moves on to someone with the patience and ability (and money) to restore the bike to 'pure' SP4.

In the meantime, I have these 851 parts which are in wonderful condition. I need to recoup some of my expenses so can anyone make me an offer?

Did you have these on ebay?

I'm jealous about that motor though . There can't be many 500 mile motors floating about. You lucky man!
