Snetterton Protest

Open letter to the Desmodue Race Committee:

On another thread Anthonye has stated that Chris Bushell arranged payment for the protest on Domski's race bike at Snetterton. As a sponsor of riders and teams in the series I am still concerned at the turn of events that lead up to the protest and I invite Chris, as a member of the DD Race Committee, to publically provide answers to the following questions:

1 Who paid for the protest?
2 Why was a member of the RC and this club's MT involved in placing the protest?
3 Why did the RC go against the recommendation of the club Chairman in making the protest?

Everyone involved in the race series and who supports the club should want to have transparency in serious issues of this nature and I hope that Chris and the RC will take this opportunity to put the record straight so that we can all move on.

Chris - my agenda is spelt out in my note above. I've invested a lot of money this year in this series and I want some answers.

Another day, a different issue. Same old one or two people recycling the same old rubbish. Yawn.
Bit daft investing money into a club (to which DD belongs) that you take every opportunity to drag into the gutter.
As the man says above. Move on.

Please guys, here is not the right place for that.

We all know something wrong happened. We all have ideas about who has been really wrong that day. And? What do you expect to do? I'm sure your motivation is right Henners, but the way you do it is not. Nobody is fool enough to publicly reckon they're wrong when they are. Especially in such a context, when people have been fighting for so long.

According to me, you're not helping the series doing that. As much as the people who raised that protest, you both are so wrong.

That thread will lead to nothing but division of the remaining people not yet divided.

It seems so many people are trying to destroy the race series I love... From both sides, the MT side and the other side...

That's not fair to us, us who only race, own bikes and spend time preparing them, and to the fans who love the series cause their mates are racing and so they make all the meetings.

Anyway, I'm so ****ed off that I should better think about something else.

Last thing:
As a DSC paid-up member fed up with all the politics going on here, as a DD racer who loves the series (yeah I already said it), as a mate of Dom & Chass who support them in what they went through, I ask the webteam to remove that thread because I do think it can only hurt our series even more.

I think the only way to move on, is to get the reasons for the protest out into the open, not just pretend it never happened.
seems like chass is still in two minds whether to continue as a sponsor in the series, and the originator of this thread seems to be feeling the same way.
very understandably so!
scaring off sponsors from a race series is disasterous.

is a strip and rebuild going to be hanging over the head of whoever wins?
this is supposed to be "cheaper" racing, and this adds massively to the cost of the season. what if you hadn't got the money for a rebuild - ebay?

I have commited to buy a 620 to race next season, but I won't waste any time trying to attract sponsors until this is all put to bed...

I've invested more money than you for 2 years now. That's why I want this thread to be deleted.

Nothing personnal Henners, I don't know you and don't dislike you.
I'm just trying to protect what I like.
