Not to sure why you just need the rear part.

The rear mono cowl will not fit on a bip front section.

So the tail has two parts?
And if i want to turn a biposto into a monoposto i need those two parts and not only the tails unit Gareth is talking about?

There are 2 parts of the seat unit.... The front and the back... for mono and bips....These units are not interchangeable between the two....So if you have a bip and your want a mono seat unit then you need a new subframe and seat unit

You`ll need the two parts of the plastic seat, subframe, bum pad and a few odd fastners.
Ducati do a MotoGP style converter to single seat which requires no subframe change, not sure of the cost thou.

Wow, WTF!!
Now i'm ****ed
So even the subframe and bum pad are different???
I thought you had to change the subframe (and ges some passanges pegs) if you wanted to do the mono to biposto conversion, but not the other way around

When the greek done his they weren`t avaliable,if you add a quality spray job to the unpainted unit from Nigel(sandbar ltd, good stuff is that)you`re getting near the same money,it just depends which style you like

Don`t give up hope, the Moto GP unit Ducati do is painted and fits straight on to your subframe,I think it`s around £300.You think the 749`s bad,you should try changing the seat on a 888

Going from bad to worst....

But why doesn't it fit? Just so Ducati can sell the whole set, huh?

And are there some nice mono aftermarket plastics that do fit the biposto configuration?

Yeah, but it's a Moto GP style, right?
Different from the 999's ones.
