| 749 Stalling Issues
I am new to the board but saw that some members were having issues with their bikes stalling. When I purchased my bike it had 3k miles on the clock. I purchased it in December of 04. Where I live in the U.S, you don't ride bikes in December! When I got the bike on the road, I noticed that it would stall at traffic lights. It could not hold the idle. The quick fix is to adjust the idle. The correct fix is to set the TPS correctly. My bike's problem was that the cam timming was not set properly from the factory. Once that was squared away the bike ran fine.
