McWilliams to Aprillia

thats him and Shakey in the same team, - good for Shakey to have an old master as a team mate.

Was just discussing the possibility of McWilliams returning to Aprilia last weekend with a few mates and we all thought it would be the right move for him. As we all felt the Aprilia people had a lot of respect for him and his abilities. This move is also a real bonus for Shakey to have someone of Jezza's experience and knowledge to fall back on.
Watch out MotoGP the Brits are coming !!

no Proton still in there, talk is of a lot of developement over the winter with either or both of Kennys sons, KR jr or Curtiss (maybe as test rider) joining the team. KR made some comments about wanting younger blood a short while back. McW is tired of risking his ass for something that won't win races, - guess Prilla are paying big money instead then??

According to an article in 'Bike', he had the two contracts side by side ready for signing. It all came down to the fact that Aprilia could guarantee Michelin tyres, and that was the crunch fact on why he signed for them. Good move I think.
