Fuel cap wanted

Does anyone have a fuel cap to suit the following spec:

-120mm O/D
-8no. Holes with a PCD of (give or take half a mm) 108mm

If you do have one, I'm interested in taking it off your hands for a small fee

(no Lead ones please!)

I just bought a used one off Ebay this weekend for the older 750/900 Sport tank that i'm going to try and fit to my DD bike

Demon Tweeks do them but like most places at Silly Money
I got the one for Dallas's alloy tank for about £60 New including the Vat, so if you can't find one any cheaper let us know and I will see if they still have them at that price

Kev, I doubt they would fit. Everyone seems to do a 120mm o/d, but with PCD of about 100-102mm. My best bet at the minute looks to be a Mocal one from DT I had found with 108mm PCD, but that I would have to get milled down because the 126mm o/d won't fit in the recess...

Well if the Tanks been made by Bill Simpson in Scotland the one I got Dallas will fit and they also fit the 851, Paso and the 750/900 early Supersport

Very similar to this one, which is from the shop at Castle Combe but slightly smaller

I had the 120mm/102mm one delivered by Merlin from Castle Combe a few days ago. Bolt PCD too close, it needs to be 108mm. The tank isn't a standard 851 tank, it is an Alloy Corsa tank, which is ever so slightly different because the breather is around the cap mount, exiting out through the bottom of the tank.

The boss/mount whatever you want to call it looks like this.....

It is a little different from the norm. I still think my best bet is going to be buy the 126mm/108mm Mocal one from Demon Tweeks, then get it milled down to 120mm to fit.

If you are getting it modified then perhaps the best bet would be to get the holes redrilled to accept crash bungs.

Best thing Ron is to do what I did with one of my Harris Tanks, that is to go for the Aero300 and get an adapter ring made
