Suspension settings

As I am bone idle & can't be bothered to do it correctly, what suspension settings are everybody using on the road? My suspension is currently rock hard (I'm 14st ) also it wobbles on white lines, falls into slow bends & needs effort to hold a line. Tyres are well worn Metzeler Z3s.

I spoke to Nelly about this last night as my Jap crap track bike runs very soft.

My SS was setup with Hyper-pro suspension and runs very hard. This is quite normal and I ended up increasing the damping on the front for the track days. I'm also similar weight to you.

D207RR's on at the mo and seem good on the roads as well as track, although the Diablo's seem to be favourite with everyone.

Enjoy

Andy

New tyres first I think - then sort static sag out and go back to standard settings before enjoying a good twiddle (on the bike obviously)

just found some standard settings in owners manual for 750 and 900 any good?
rear shock basically 10mm of thread above locknut for pre load
for compression and rebound screw both adjusters fully clockwise then loosen by one turn
for front
for compression the (bottom of fork leg) screw all the way in and six clicks out
for rebound the (top middle one)screw all the way in and then four clicks
out
for preload 18mm from top of forkleg to top of nut

for 600 rear std sachs boge
pre load 14mm
compression 6 clicks back from fully clockwise
rebound 6 clicks back from fully clockwise
