So is it 10-9-8 or 10-98!?!

Ok so are people calling this bike the 10-9-8 (same as say the 916) or are you calling it the 10-98 (like say a Porsche 911).....????
Its a question that is bugging me! And I will need to know what to call her when she arrives in a week!

10 - 98 seems to be the one I've heard the most. And then it will be the 11 - 98 next year! Yum yum.

Down here in the south everyone I know has been saying 10-9-8 ... it's too American to say "ten ninety-eight" like they used to say "nine sixteen" Urgh!

nine one six
nine nine six

Nick, take yourself outside and administer yourself a beating.

It's the first time a model designation has reached 4 numerals, so we're running with the ten!

in Italy it's the, one thousand and ninety eight, but there again it does sound better as "mille e novantotto", remember a journalist saying that pretty much anything said in Italian sounds cooler.

to be fair i have been saying "dieci e novantotto" to my pa but their again i don't live in Italy.
