TopiToo,

I wouldn't worry too much about the groups. If it's open pit lane you can stay off the track if there are people out there you'd rather not be riding with. I'm Inters now but, as it's a new track, would be taking it steady, at least to start with. I think the standard will be fast but safe (unless these guys have their race heads on, in which case I'll be getting off the track and keeping my nerves in tact.

TP, will be a an opportunity for a bit of CSS style instruction?

I wouldn't worry about that at all mate, honestly. Yes there will be some quick boys there but all the racers are more courteous in passing than what happens on various trackdays! And there may very well be two groups, one with racers and one with just trackdayers.

Go for it dude! It'll be a giggle as well

Open pitlane sounds good to me as well.

And at the end of the day, if someone has you off, you can always punch it out in the gravel.

I would like to think this even will be a bit different in that all the people taking part will be mates, and therefore will give each other room etc.

Not like 90 strangers of different ability on a UK trackday.
