chris, keep your chin up and relax, you'll heal faster then

im sure you will be fine and that the bike will be fixed ( plenty of help on here for that )

everyone comes off sometime, fault or non fault you've just been seriously unlucky by the sounds of it

Nooooooooo

Real shocker this one Chris, but shows just how easy it is to become a statistic out there

Hope you and your chums make a full recovery...

Best wishes, Guy

Nightmare. I hope all recover swiftly. Must've been a horrendous thing to experience.

It is awful when you have an off yourself without having to watch in horror as it happens to your mates around you at the same time. I know what it's like to have such bad luck mate and tho' it seems like the end of the world it will get brighter believe me. Time is a great healer and I'm sure you'll be back on 2 wheels in due course. The main thing is that nobody was too badly injured. The bikes will get replaced in time and you'll be back amongst the fold before long.
Take it easy for now and keep your mates chins up too

Thanks for the kind words guys. Went to see my mate last night and he is doing ok He was pretty out of it on pain killers but was on about the gsxr1000 he is getting next

His wife has been sent home! I went to see her and all she remembers is waking up in the hospital Her lid has a crack about two inches long from the visor upwards. Its not a cheap one so she must have hit it pretty hard.

Just got the bikes back and it looks pretty bad.

One fork is def bent and one of the brake calipers is split in half. Top and bottom yokes are split in half and the front end has come away from the rest of the bike. The frame doesnt look bent at all! It looks like there is an ali insert in the steel tube of the headstock - its this that is mashed! Cant it be replaced??

The cam belt cover has a corner missing and one of the cylinder heads has a corner missing. Also the lug for the front V-piece has snapped off

Not looking so hot right now!!

Both mirrors are ok though

Good to see you can still muster up a sense of humour, the very best of luck to you all.
