Hi,

Going to be changing my coolant soon on the 996 and i was wondering if apart from what it says in the Haynes manual, is there anything else i need to know/do?

Check the state of your hoses as they'll be 15+ years now if they're originals and may be starting to degrade, and harden then crack.

When refilling I always find that squashing the hoses in and out of the radiator helps to squeeze out the air bubbles and get the coolant moving around a bit before running up!

Ok thanks for the tip. I'll check the hoses out too, as it seems sensible to change them whist i'm doing the coolant. Do you sell them by any chance?
