ST2 Running fault

Hi, I wondered if anyone can make an educated guess as to my ST2 problem. It's done 37k . problem started today. after an hour of motorway , whilst cruising at 90-100 if I reduce the throttle by only a little bit , instead of just slowing down the engine stops firing completely as if I had let go of the throttle . If I open it up a little bit it fires and runs as if nothing is wrong. It has made the throttle into an on /off switch ! I'm guessing the TPS has reached it's sell by date or maybe one of the other sensors? I tried it many times over the next 100 miles but the problem won't go away . Many thanks for any suggestions. Fraser

About £125 plus fitting and set up. I call that expensive!

Many thanks for your suggestions, I think the TPS is the way forward. If it costs under £ 200 all in , I have no complaints after 37k trouble free miles . cheers Fraser

If you are lucky you can pick them up on ebay. I've got one from a two year old bike that was being broken which only cost me £5.00.
