Tyre life/Replacements 749R

I have done 2500 miles now on my original Pirelli Diablo Corsa rear and it is now due for replacement.

The tyre has never let me down, seems super sticky and I think 2500 miles is quite good for a rear ?

I was going to replace like for like as the front tyre is still mint but a local shop had some Pirelli supercorsas that he recommended ( Do not know which ones he had ) and also the same type Michelin that is fitted to the 999R.

I personally did not like Dunlops as years ago I had a set, not sure what ones , that had a really high profile and when the bike leant over it just seemed to drop. They might very well be better now but I am still a bit wary.

Do you reckon I would be better off sticking to the Diablo Corsa or change the pair to the supercorsas (Or Pros ) or the Michelins.

What have other 749R owners tried and what were their views compared to the Diablo Corsas, better or not as good.
