Yup that was last march out for a ride with kirsty.....
I suppose I could say I was lucky as I was unconcious before i hit the ground...I think. Proved the highway code wrong, My stopping distance was 10 meters at 80mph,

Funnily enough ended up at louth..... They wanted to fly me to lincoln, but I decided to go home and have a beer with some friends..LOL again i think.
Glyn
And the moral of that story, All the people out there that want their stands to stay down DONT. You only have to rely on it poping up once when it dont and its curtains.

I race DD because it is superbly organized, democratically run, has simple clear cut rules, is based on sound technical principles, and is full of like-minded people all having fun.

Kind of mate, A kick backwards to help it on its way followed by a crap wheelie past the wife, She noticed the stand was down and in her panick warned me by........Indicating left. I was already trapping on tho so wouldnt have heard her horn.
The rest is history so they say

eek. That is a nightmare scenario.

As for racing in DD, would you believe it - I've had my 600SS since nearly new, and was thinking that it would be great to race it.

I did a search on the wed and found the Horribledemon site. So I joined up and here I am.

Why DD?

...........because it's a cheap way to experience first hand the thrills (yes, and spills!) of racing after many years lay off from hard-core trackdaying.

Plus it gives me the opportunity to prove to you all that you're NEVER too old, fat or crippled to get out there and JUST DO IT
