steering damper

Has anyone fitted an ohlins steering damper to a Monster,is there a quicker way to fit the front fork clamp without lifting the front of the bike up to lower the fork,,any ideas please

I got a shorter stroke damper on my 620, fitted indide the frame/forks.
Hope the pic is clear enuf!

Dennis trollope (from memory) and others sell split fork clamps so you dont have to take the forks out.

What Monster? Old/New?

Ive fitted a KaW@saki one to the underside of mine similar to NBs996, mines on a '99 Monster and fits on the other side of the bike where the horn attaches!
