Forgot to mention the R1 calipers came at a cost of £100 including postage, very reasonable I thought

I take it this mod is for one of your Ducatis?

well I'm more than happy with the front end in my 996, the Ohlins forks in the 998 could be better but could probably be sorted with a 25mm damper rod upgrade.
I have the Dymag Carbon swingarm, a 955 Corse engine, a Corse frame on its way so it looks like this front end is going to have to join them for now.
but certainly looking forward to the next step in front fork performance, if they are a marked improvement over the forks in my 996 I will well chuffed
