Phil, Alan says he will check out the other engine in the garge tonight & see if he can salvage anything from it.
He says dont hold your breath (its been sitting there for 2 years in a box) but its worth a check.

lrt us know though mate if there is owt

id go for a tenner name on bike fairing

by the time you've got enough for an engine you might need bigger fairings though

Phil, I know it's a bit basic but is there enough good metal left to re-weld the flywheel to the crank so at least you can get something out of the engine, or has the weld failure trashed the lot?

I know an aircraft standard welder who could probably do the job as a freebie if I asked.
