CLASS A and B in 2007

I propose that Neither of the Class winners run the No1 plate in 2007......

it's elititst and creates racing social classes....!...

Why can't both run it ?

Surely if you have different coloured boards, they know you're 2 seperate classes ?

Well they can obviously ...derr....im suggestng and forming a groundswell of support to ensure the class winners DONT run the number 1 plate..as i feel it's not in keeeping with the ethos behind the DD.....and suggests levels of elitism not wanted in DD.....................

I'm a little confused... Not in keeping with the Ethos of DD, surely the Ethos of DD is that it's a Race series... with championship points, and therefore a Series Winner ?

There's no elitism in holding #1 plate... it's a right of passage....

If there was a #1 plate in Class A, but not allowed in Class B (because the class A guy is running it) then i could see it as that....

But i'm afraid i miss your point on this one.

To the victor go the spoils IMO

I think if the winner wants to run the number 1 plate then that is their right. It's up to them.

You race to win? and, to win, you choose to race?

I'm with TP, sorry.

I know exactly where your coming from and I dont think anyone will respect anyone any less no matter what number they run, if anything, the guys at the front are the ones to look up to and ask for help.

I think class winner should be allowed to choose #1... that's fair enough...
