Oi...you Derby/Notts lot...

I need to arrange for somebody to get up from London to South Normanton for a couple of days next Tue/Wed - has to be by public transport as well cos they're from the US and don't know how to drive on our side of the road or work a clutch and gears.

I imagine the nearest station is Alfreton? But is that the best route by rail?

I would take them myself and visit Cornerspeed for a cuppa on the way, but I'll be in Paris instead.

Paris....South Normanton....Paris.....South Normanton, it's a tough call

St Pancras direct to Alfreton-Only way you can do it really Joolz. Easiest and fastest route...then taxi to South Normanton. That's less than 10 mile I reckon, probably £20 quidish

You must really hate those people to want to subject them to public transport !

South Normanton is about three miles from the station but make sure you don't go through there at night time as even the Police go in pairs. (i'm not joking!!)
