You've set the standard for the 583 class and I've always been impressed by your focus and determination.

You've done it your own way and you've taken the championship - excellent work Phil.

I remember at the start of the season at Brands in the wet watching you change down at the bottom of Paddock Hill for the climb up to Druids - you were the only rider to do that. I thought then that you were bringing a different way of riding to the series, thinking hard and trying new ideas.
