chain adjusters

Hi
I have a problem with my chain adjusters. The left hand plate was damaged where the chain had come off at some stage,I bought some new ones which were the same part no for both sides. The new left hand fouls on the sprocket nuts. When matched with the one I replaced it's narrower it looks like it's been machined. Hope this makes sense without pictures! any answers welcome

Sounds like they've given you a right hand.

Of you're really stuck, I have a spare I can lend you until you get a new one. Is the damaged one still servicable?

chain adjusters

Speaking about chain adjusters anyone tried a set of these axle plates? eBay Item number: 4580383001
They look nicely machined and would make a nice upgrade to the ‘cheapo’ not a ‘chance of lining up’ tin plates Ducati gave us!
