Gel Seat for a 996

Anyone know where I can get a gel seat for a 996?

Original is rather hard for my aging bones

I got my gel Sargent seat from Ebay Clive. I guess that won’t help you much as I’ve only seen that one but I can thoughroly recommend them. Much, much kinder on the arse and all but stops the tendency to slip up to the tank . Corbin also do one although may not be “gel”. Could well be others??

Tecnosel do a foam seat which may not be as comfy as a Sargant seat but its miles better than the standard item. I've used the Tecnosel for quite a few long trips and its good.

Your right, however, the manufacturer won't deal direct with individuals in the UK so you have to deal with the importer who charges £195 + £10 postage.

Im in the us with work and have seen a company on ebay.com selling them a whole lot cheaper, ok you gotta pay $35 postage (£17), but at 130 quid who can complain
