Question Upgrade signatures for National Licence

Does anyone know whether the 110% rule (Road Racing regs section 2.2) applies to the overall winner or the class winner?

Class winner, that's what I based mine on anyway.

It must be in class

strictly speaking the club could run the two races seperately

Hmm...I'm not so sure now. According to Karen Mabbutt at Hottrax:
"110% of the overall winner not the class winner"

I emailed the ACU first, and got an out-of-office until 17th September - hence asking around. Fair play would seem to say "class winner", but the literal application of the regs would be "race winner"

I upgraded half way through this year, and used all my results as class results, and not race results.

They gave me a National licence based on those.

It's like when they put 400's out with 650's it's 2 different races. Just put together to save track time. Can't be classed as same race.

Racing with wirral 100 we had 250's 125's 400's minitwins and a CB500 in one race ..

other races the twins got lumped in with classics and forgotten era

No way all that lot are competing on the same level
