eBay 748r

Seems a good price for a dealer, he also has a nice 996 on there

Haha, was going to mention that. Seems odd he has lots of nice bikes for sale and only has feedback for selling two previous.
Price does seem fair?

I think his username "we-will-sell-your-bike" is a bit of a hint; probably an agent?

Some of the pictures have been adjusted though - the contrast and brightness have been tweaked which makes them look way too red and the colours almost blurry.

As for the price - it's ony worth what anyone will pay. It does look really nice and clean but it's still a ten-year-old 750. It's an early model, so although it's got the Ohlin forks, it hasn't got the carbon fairings and seat of the later version which would make it more desirable.

You could buy a lot of bike for that kind of money - Gixxer Thou, Fireblade, a decent 996 and probably a 998 as well. Or a 999 if you could stand the sight of it. Or one of those new 900 SuperSport Hailwoods?

The 'guy' is picture mad
Won't be buying as I would like another 999 or 749 with the later red frame black swingarm

The 748R never came with a carbon fairing or seat unit. I had an '02 and everything is plastic. The seat unit has a section that looks like carbon adjacent to carbon air box but it's just paint.

It's a common mistake.

Hmmm ... maybe it's the carbon airbox and black graphics that threw me and I was thinking of the 749R?
