Hi Kev, it has standard timing set to the timing marks. My engine doesn't have adjustable cams.

Before adjustable cam sprockets/gears they used offset woodruff keys to set the timing. Without measuring the cam timing you'll never know how far out it is or how close it is. I've found the factory's initial setup is often pants

I have heard of these woodruff keys but don't know anyone from around my area who can help. Is it something you can help me with, especially as we have Saturday free. PM if it's possible and we can sort something out......piston rings.
