acu race school

what date are you guys without licence's visiting rugby to go to the acu school, it would be good if there was a load of dsc'ers going together to get to know people etc

plus we could maybe meet up and share fuel costs etc.

i wont be bale to go for 2 weeks as i need to give that much notice for a day off

cheers

It's a good idea. But as usual, I've got a question

Where is the ACU school ?

the school is in rugby and is held on monday's.

you have to complete the school before applying to newera and the acu

when completed send the forms to the new era and they will add their bits and send onto the acu for completion, does anyone know how long the process will take for this???

cheers

ok, ok, sorry for my stupid question
I didn't know there is town called Rugby in England.

Other question : Do you know if they lend bikes ?

It would suit me to share fuel costs, furthermore not travelling alone could help me not to get lost as usual.

Where do you live Deej ?

i dont think you need bikes mate, its all claasroom based with a small test at the end of it.

i live in cornwall so i will be travelling up the a30 and then the m5 onto the m42 to rugby

im looking at going on either the 31/1 or 7/2

hope this helps you

Rugby is a town in the midlands, where I was born!

You have to phone the ACU and get them to send you a course application form - they're not taking bookings by phone.
The course, as deej says, is classrom only and lasts about 4 hours starting at 11am.

I've requested 7th Feb and will be staying sunday night in Rugby with relatives, so if anyone's nearby on sunday eve then give me a shout and we'll go for a shandy in town.

not definate deej, the form asked for a 1st and 2nd choice of dates... I put 7th feb as a preference and 14th second choice. Only posted the form a couple of days ago so not yet confirmed.
