desmo due costs

ive been unable to use my pc for a while and have missed bits out so im sorry to ask whats probably been a previously asked question :

what costs are people expecting to pay when competing in desmo due

has there been any set entry fees yet

what are the race dates and where , better make sure theyre not my wedding weekend

what race club is it being run through

is sponsorship allowed ( if i can persuade people that is ) to bring costs down

whens the day to get the acu licence,i have done the ron haslam school twice so do i need to go to the acu day as all flags were explained back then

whats been the most popular choice of bike so far

i really want to do this and need to find a bike whilst theyre still cheap but with starting a new job and getting married i need to do the sensible thing and sort the finances out first if possible

any help greatly received

cheers

deej

well some quick answers deej...

q. what costs are people expecting to pay when competing in desmo due
a. there's a long discussion about this in the DesmoDue section... no simple answer.

q. has there been any set entry fees yet
a. no official word yet but should be between £100-£130 a meet

q. what are the race dates and where , better make sure theyre not my wedding weekend
a. get your priorities sorted bloke... the wedding can be changed!
Cadwell Woodland 30 April/May 01
Castle Coombe June 04
Round 3 tba, end of july
Donnington August 13
Brands Indy September 18
Cadwell Full Circuit October 09

q. what race club is it being run through
a. New Era

q. is sponsorship allowed ( if i can persuade people that is ) to bring costs down
a. hope so!

q. whens the day to get the acu licence,i have done the ron haslam school twice so do i need to go to the acu day as all flags were explained back then
a. ACU day is a must, runs every monday at ACU hq in Rugby or there's a couple of days at Pembrey with track time late feb.

q. whats been the most popular choice of bike so far
a. I gather there's been a good mix of M600, M620, 600ss and a couple of Multi's

hope to see you on the grid...

I know its the wrong section and all that. But is the woodlands section of Cadwell, from the bottom of the mountain and then on through the to the hairpin and barns back to the the bottom of th mountain, or is it the other way round?

As I understand it, it goes... start - hairpin right before coppice - mountain - Halls bends - Old Hairpin - Barn - finish.

The open-air section without the mountain is called the Club Circuit, and the whole lot is known as the Full Circuit.

seems a bit short to me - imagine 40 Clubman 600 riders trying to fight their way round that! It'll be a bloodbath!!
