Fork oil

Planning to change the fork oil on the ST4. presumably the forks have to come out of the yokes to do it? Anyone know if i need any special tools to dismantly the legs or is it simply a case of undoing the preload thingy and turning the fork upside down to drain the oil?

Paul

PS Nelly, do you sell fork oil?

I think you'll find that you do, if only to make a really, really annoying job into a relatively sensible one.....speak to Neil.
Andy
PS He does sell it!

Cheers Andy. Looks like the blooming fairing has got to come off yet again then!
How did Portugal go?

Paul.

Yes Paul I sell the oil.
As far as tools go, it's a little more involved that uncrewing the preload thingy as the oil height needs to be set with the spring, spacers etc removed.
Although not essential, there are a couple of very useful tools that make the job relatively straight forward.

That's what I said....I think!:P

Paul - it was great but I preferred Spain...it's safer!

Cheers
